Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving a diverse student population from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role involves delivering comprehensive communication services within a school-based setting, following the academic calendar from August 2026 to June 2027. Key responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLP will develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) and 504 plan goals, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. Providing both direct and indirect therapy services, monitoring student progress, and consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators to enhance student success are essential duties.
Qualifications and desired experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state SLP license or eligibility ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience with pediatric and school-based populations preferred Familiarity with teletherapy and healthcare settings is an advantage Ability to work with a diverse caseload across all grade levels This position is travel-based and located in Yorktown, VA, offering the chance to engage with various school communities.
