Job Description

Position requires a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers a unique opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to gain valuable experience in a school setting. Located in Burlington, VT, this contract role involves working directly with students to assess and support their speech and language development, contributing to their academic success and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students requiring support Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress Maintain detailed and accurate documentation to ensure compliance with school and legal standards Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Desired Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CFY eligibility Strong understanding of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders Experience or interest in pediatric speech therapy within educational environments Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff Ability to manage caseload and organize schedules efficiently
