Burlington School District is seeking Speech/Language Pathologists tto provide supports in an inclusive summer pre-school environment for young children ages 3-6. Speech Pathologists will provide services in the classroom, in small groups, and individually as assigned.Job Requirements:
Licensed or eligible for Vermont Educators License. Licensed in Speech/Language Pathology Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.Required Qualifications:
Experience in closely working with, providing direct instruction to, and case-managing special education students. Experience in supporting children with cognitive, language, ASD, adaptive, behavior and social emotional needs. Ability to commit to work all 3 program weeks Experience working in a pre-school classroom. Ability to train and supervise para-educators Experience in working with ELL students who have language development needs desirable Knowledge of best practices in engaging and motivating students and managing student behaviors. Previous experience in Extended School Year programming is preferredProgram Dates:
