Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting full-time opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students' communication growth in a dynamic educational setting near Castleton and Rutland, VT. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will make a real difference by delivering speech and language services that empower children in their academic and social journeys.
What You Bring:
- Active SLP license, with CCC preferred
- Strong background in pediatric and school-based SLP services
- Experience or interest in teletherapy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Open to those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
What You'll Do:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a K-12 setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff
- Provide direct therapy—both in-person and via teletherapy, as needed
- Assist with progress monitoring and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
