Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting full-time opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students' communication growth in a dynamic educational setting near Castleton and Rutland, VT. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will make a real difference by delivering speech and language services that empower children in their academic and social journeys.
What You Bring:
  • Active SLP license, with CCC preferred
  • Strong background in pediatric and school-based SLP services
  • Experience or interest in teletherapy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Open to those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
What You'll Do:
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a K-12 setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff
  • Provide direct therapy—both in-person and via teletherapy, as needed
  • Assist with progress monitoring and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
