Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an engaging full-time opportunity supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year in the Rutland area. This contract role offers SLP professionals a chance to make a meaningful difference in pediatric educational settings, whether you're an experienced SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing vital speech and language services while expanding your skills in a supportive, dynamic school environment.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Vermont Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred Proficiency in teletherapy and in-person service delivery Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Commitment to serving diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in schools Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service professionals Utilize teletherapy when appropriate to broaden student access Provide mentorship and support to SLP-CFYs, as applicable Review and assess progress, adjusting interventions as needed
