Job Description

Addison Central School District Speech and Language Pathologists 2026-2027 Addison Central School District is seeking full-time Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates should be familiar with Ed Doc Vermont (or a comparable web-based paperwork system), progress monitoring, and an understanding of a multi-tiered system of support. Candidates must have experience conducting assessments, analyzing results, and writing reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills. The ability to utilize information from assessments to write goals for the student's IEPs, that are strength-based as well as child and family-centered for overall educational improvement is also critical. Finally, candidates must have the ability to differentiate instruction for individual learners, implement IEP plans and accommodations, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team. The chosen candidate will have available CF mentorship and will qualify for reimbursement of ASHA dues. Qualified applicants should have school experience, an understanding of standards based instruction and a belief that each student can meet high expectations. Preference will be given to candidates who have earned their Certificate of Clinical Competence. Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a current Vermont teaching license with the pertinent endorsement.
