Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential therapy and support services to students during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position gives you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and collaborate with educational professionals in a supportive setting near North Bennington, VT.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Valid SLP license in Vermont (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience working as a school-based SLP strongly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service providers Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals Maintain accurate and timely records of progress, assessments, and services provided Monitor student progress and adjust interventions and strategies as needed Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Consult regularly with teachers and parents to support student achievement Contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on student success and inclusion
