Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity providing essential speech-language pathology services in a supportive educational environment near Saint Johnsbury, VT. Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Valid SLP licensure for the state of Vermont (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in schools Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), actively participating in IEP meetings Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to support students' goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Educate school staff and families on strategies to support communication development Advocate for student needs within the school setting and foster inclusive classroom environments Enjoy the dynamic rhythm of the academic year while making a measurable impact on students' lives.
