Aug 11, 2026 Job Description Missisquoi Valley School District is seeking an organized and dedicated professional to work as a Speech Language Pathologist in our Schools beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will have completed - or will be completing - the appropriate academic program for licensure. CCC-SLP supervision possible. A love of elementary age children and a passion for supporting the communication skills of a variety of learners is a must. Responsibilities
Service Delivery:
Provide speech and language therapy as outlined in student IEPs.
Evaluations:
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and standardized testing.
Collaboration:
Consult with teachers and families to integrate communication goals into the classroom.
Meetings:
Lead and participate in Evaluation Planning and IEP meetings.
AAC Support:
Implement Augmentative and Alternative Communication strategies as needed. Requirements
Education:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Licensure:
Valid Vermont Professional Educator License (Endorsement 82).
Certification:
CCC-SLP preferred (CFY candidates are encouraged to apply).
Travel:
Ability to travel between district buildings. This is a union professional position, following the school year calendar. Salary based on education and experience, starting at $56,250.00.
