Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist makes a difference in the lives of school-aged children. For the upcoming 2026/27 academic year, a full-time contract position is available serving students within a supportive learning environment near Rutland, VT. This engaging role embraces a variety of settings, allowing you to work with a diverse pediatric population, both in-person and through teletherapy. In this position, you will: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across multiple grade levels Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) to support each student's unique needs Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective interventions Provide direct therapy and ongoing support for students in accordance with IEP goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines Engage in professional development opportunities and contribute to a positive school culture Ideal candidates will have: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or the ability to obtain prior to starting Experience in school-based, pediatric, and/or teletherapy settings Strong understanding of speech and language disorders in children and effective therapeutic strategies Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills This contract position offers the chance to earn between $45 and $55 per hour while making a meaningful impact throughout the school year.
