Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract position providing expert speech-language therapy services to PreK and Kindergarten students for the remainder of the school year. This role focuses on supporting young learners in reaching their communication milestones through engaging, evidence-based practices. Begin as soon as possible and make a difference working with a collaborative educational team.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure Experience working with early childhood or preschool populations preferred Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to PreK and Kindergarten students Conduct comprehensive assessments and use findings to develop individualized education program (IEP) goals Deliver therapy sessions individually and in small groups, utilizing engaging and age-appropriate strategies Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate communication strategies throughout the school day Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and strategies for support at home Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the positive school environment This contract opportunity offers a rewarding chance to shape foundational communication skills and set young students up for future academic success.
