Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing speech-language pathology services to students in a supportive educational setting. This contract role focuses on delivering essential support to K-12 learners for the entire 2026-2027 school year. The position is onsite only and offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours each week.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible Washington SLP licensure and willingness to be fingerprinted through OSPI Ability to obtain a Washington Education Staff Associate (ESA) certificate if not already held Possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience or training working in a school-based or pediatric setting highly valued Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse student caseload ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address communication disorders Maintain accurate records and document student progress in accordance with district and state requirements Provide consultation and resources to teachers and staff to promote students' educational success Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students can develop their communication skills
