The ideal candidate will work with pediatric patients of all ages, focusing on diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities. Develop and implement tailored therapy programs based on patient needs. Provide speech therapy services in various settings, including schools and our clinic. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress. Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary. Engage in early intervention strategies for pediatric patients to enhance communication skills. Stay current with medical terminology and best practices in speech therapy. Experience A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and a current WA license is required. Experience in patient assessment and providing speech therapy services is preferred. Previous work experience in school settings or pediatrics is highly desirable. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on industry advancements is expected.
