Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your expertise in speech-language pathology to the next level by supporting students' communication and learning in a rewarding contract role. In a school-based environment near Bellevue, WA, you'll be part of a collaborative team committed to making a positive difference in children's lives. This opportunity welcomes those with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and pediatric experience, as well as those passionate about delivering high-quality, individualized care to diverse student populations.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred; clinical fellows (CFY) considered Experience in pediatric settings, with a strong understanding of school-based SLP practices Knowledge of IEP process, progress monitoring, and relevant documentation Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to engage creatively with students of varied backgrounds and needs
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs in collaboration with educators and families Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify communication needs Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary Provide consultation and training to teachers, staff, and families on strategies and tools to support communication in the classroom Maintain timely and accurate records according to school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team sessions, and professional development as required Enjoy a role that balances professional fulfillment with flexibility, allowing you to build impactful relationships with students, families, and educators.
