Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) by supporting students' growth and communication skills in an educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. Serving K-12 students, you'll work in person in a dynamic environment, collaborating with educators and families to deliver high-quality therapy services. This full-time, contract opportunity is perfect for compassionate, skilled professionals eager to enrich the school experience for students. What you'll bring: Current and active Washington SLP license (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working in K-12 schools or educational environments strongly desired Strong understanding of school-based assessments, intervention planning, and IEP development Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills Dedication to providing in-person therapy (virtual/VOCO not considered for this role) In this role, you will: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across multiple grade levels Complete screenings, evaluations, and document progress in compliance with school and state guidelines Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Offer guidance and support to classroom staff regarding student communication needs Maintain thorough, timely records and report progress effectively Perks of this position include: Consistent, full-time schedule for the 2026-2027 school year (8/31/26-6/16/27) The opportunity to work directly with a diverse student population and school teams Professional growth within a supportive educational setting If you're ready to make a difference in the lives of students and help them find their voice, we would love to connect with you.
