Job Description

Holly Ridge Center , a non-profit neurodevelopment center in Bremerton, Washington, is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist . This position offers an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of Infant Toddler Program professionals, providing early support services to children from birth to age 3 and their families. Our Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) provide speech/language, oral-motor, and feeding therapy services, as appropriate, to the birth to three-year-old population within a medical and educational model. Evaluation, assessment, treatment, and consultation services are provided using an interdisciplinary, family-centered, and culturally diverse approach.

Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Neurodevelopmental Treatment training and/or Sensory Integration preferred
  • Knowledge of typical and atypical child development processes
  • Ability to make home visits
  • Meeting facilitation skills
  • Awareness of family economic and cultural issues as they relate to early intervention
  • Knowledge of Washington State special education regulations and/or federal early intervention law
  • Knowledge of IFSP process
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and MS Office programs
  • Ability to pass a criminal history background check Education, Training, and/or
Work Experience:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university required
  • Experience working in a field of social services or early intervention preferred
  • Infant/toddler communication therapy training and/or experience preferred
Required Licenses or Certifications:
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association required; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) may be considered in lieu of CCC
  • Current Washington State Professional License through the Department of Health
  • Valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of required personal liability insurance
  • Must have clean WA State driving record, as defined by HRC's agency insurance policy
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate, or ability to obtain within first 60 (sixty) days of employment
  • Current Washington State Food Worker Card, if requested, or ability to obtain within first 60(sixty) days of employment
