Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic role as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting a preschool caseload for a key leave coverage opportunity from September through December. This full-time contract position focuses on early intervention and communication development in young learners, allowing you to apply your expertise in a collaborative and innovative educational setting. With the flexibility to utilize modern teletherapy tools as well as traditional in-person approaches, you'll play a vital role in helping preschoolers build foundational speech and language skills during a crucial stage of growth.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP licensure in Washington SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings Comfort with delivering therapy both onsite and via teletherapy platforms Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for working with young children
Responsibilities Include:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to preschool students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student care Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and track progress Provide support and guidance for families and school staff, ensuring continuity of care during leave coverage
