Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, where your expertise will empower students with communication needs in a collaborative educational environment. This rewarding role centers on supporting children and adolescents through comprehensive evaluation, innovative treatment, and active family engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations for students presenting with speech and language challenges Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific communication goals Provide engaging therapy sessions, tracking measurable progress toward client outcomes Diligently document each student's advancements and maintain clear, timely records Collaborate effectively with a dedicated, multidisciplinary team—including educators and specialists—to ensure coordinated, holistic care Involve families, offering education and guidance to support each child's communication journey beyond the classroom
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active or eligible state licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is advantageous Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team contributor To be eligible, candidates must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology and have a Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
