Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Travel Opportunity awaits for adventurous Speech Language Pathologists eager to make a lasting difference in the lives of students while experiencing all the benefits that travel assignments offer. Qualifications:
- Active Washington SLP License
- Previous experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services (Preschool-6th grade)
- Training in assessment, evaluation, consultation
- Commitment to supporting students with special needs and their families
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build positive, professional relationships
- Knowledge of special education law, process, and disability categories
- Expertise in early learning and/or atypical speech/language impairments a plus
- Creative problem-solving and effective communication
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person SLP services to preschool & elementary-aged students
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech/language disorders
- Collaborate closely with special education and multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintain documentation and monitor students' progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, consult with families & staff
