Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic, collaborative school environment. This position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who hold a passion for working with children, enjoy a vibrant school-based setting, and are dedicated to helping students reach their communication goals.
Qualifications and required experience:
Hold a current WA State Department of Health SLP License Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required; CFY candidates considered if eligible WA State SLP ESA credential Ability to provide fingerprints and clear both WSP and FBI background/sexual misconduct checks Valid Washington State driver's license or evidence of reliable mobility Previous experience in a school-based SLP role is preferred Strong skills in pediatric speech-language evaluation, therapy, and collaboration within an educational setting Key responsibilities include: Delivering direct speech-language therapy services to students during in-person instructional days (Monday through Friday) Conducting assessments and writing comprehensive evaluation reports Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Working collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth Maintaining accurate records, progress logs, and documentation in compliance with state and district protocols Engaging in multidisciplinary team meetings and supporting school-wide initiatives to foster an inclusive environment This role offers a steady weekday schedule of 37.5 hours per week, aligned with the school calendar, providing an excellent work-life balance and the chance to truly make a difference in students' lives.
