Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, serving K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting near Federal Way, WA. In this role, you'll provide essential speech and language support, making a meaningful impact from September 1, 2026, through June 23, 2027, with consistent hours of 37.5 per week.
Required Qualifications:
Current Washington State SLP license, or willingness to obtain prior to start date SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) Eligibility for, or possession of, a Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certificate Fingerprinting cleared through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) Experience in school-based settings working with K-12 students preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech, language, and communication assessment and therapy to a diverse K-12 student population Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success Document progress, manage caseload, and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines Deliver services exclusively onsite to foster strong student connections This contract role offers a chance to grow professionally while helping students build critical communication skills.
