Join a 42-week contract in Federal Way, WA, starting ASAP.
Full-time schedule:
Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.
Compensation:
Travel:
$2,424/40 hrs;
Local:
$2,388/40 hrs. Must hold a valid, active state license for Speech-Language Pathology.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function. Diagnose communication and swallowing disorders using clinical assessment and diagnostic testing. Develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide evidence-based therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension and expression. Assess and treat dysphagia; teach safe swallowing techniques. Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices as appropriate. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic strategies, home exercises, and carryover techniques. Monitor, document, and revise treatment progress and goals; maintain accurate clinical records. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care. Facilitate skill generalization for functional communication at home, school, and work. Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
