Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language services as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the upcoming school year. This is a .75 FTE, in-person opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated special education team and support students' growth and communication skills.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Active or eligibility for SLP licensure in Washington Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong skills in assessment, IEP development, and therapy for school-aged students Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities Passion for supporting students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students with identified or suspected communication disorders Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, individually and in groups, in accordance with IEP goals Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and assessments Provide training and consultation to teachers and staff to support student success in the classroom Participate in IEP meetings, data teams, and professional development opportunities throughout the school year This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite for a full academic year, with a schedule that supports a work-life balance while making a real difference for students.
