Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a rewarding opportunity working with students in a dynamic elementary school setting near Kent, WA. This contract-to-hire position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact during the 2026-2027 school year while working with a friendly and collaborative educational team. You'll provide targeted speech-language services to a manageable caseload of 45 students, supporting their communication development from September through June. Skills & Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Washington SLP license (or eligibility for WA licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; SLP-CFY welcome to apply Experience in school-based settings and providing pediatric services Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Comfortable managing a caseload without SLP assistants (no SLPAs) Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students Conduct evaluations, create individualized plans, and track student progress Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals Serve as a resource at Tehaleh Heights Elementary School, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state regulations Consult and problem-solve with colleagues to enhance student outcomes Enjoy fulfilling work surrounded by passionate professionals dedicated to student success.
