Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid certificate of clinical competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) Experience in pediatric or K-12 school settings is highly valued Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborative spirit and communication skills to work with teachers, families, and allied professionals Washington state licensure or eligibility to obtain
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and deliver therapy services for students with speech and language needs Develop comprehensive treatment plans and document measurable outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of intervention strategies Support students with diverse backgrounds and abilities, adapting methodologies as needed Provide consultation and education for families and school teams about communication needs Maintain thorough records in compliance with legal, ethical, and district standards This contract role offers you the flexibility to grow professionally while making a tangible impact on young learners' lives.
