Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives while advancing your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school environment. This contract position gives you the opportunity to support K-12 students near the beautiful Marblemount, WA region, utilizing your expertise in speech and language assessment, intervention, and collaborative consultation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology Prior experience working in school settings or with children preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
Complete evaluations to identify speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in a diverse K-12 student population Develop and carry out evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members Document student progress and maintain accurate, timely reports for IEP meetings Provide consultation and education to school staff and families regarding speech/language development and strategies Stay current with best practices in the field through ongoing professional development This contract opportunity allows you to play an essential role in students' educational journeys.
