Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. Serving a school-based caseload, you'll make a meaningful impact on student communication, social development, and academic achievement within a collaborative educational setting. This position is part-time, at .4 FTE, offering an optimal work-life balance while contributing your specialized expertise.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (SLP-CCC) Valid state certification or ability to obtain appropriate credentials Experience with school-aged populations preferred Proficiency in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders Strong ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students identified as requiring services Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Provide direct therapy and consultation in both group and individual settings Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students' educational progress Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities Offer guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language interventions
