Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing expert speech-language services in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract-based position (.4 FTE) offers the chance to work with a supportive educational team and help students reach their communication goals in a school setting near Oak Harbor, WA.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Washington State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Previous school-based experience preferred but not mandatory Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Passion for fostering student development and success
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents Document and maintain thorough records of student progress and services provided Offer preventive, intervention, and consultation services as needed Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development opportunities Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs This opportunity allows you to provide direct, impactful support to students, working closely with teachers and families to enhance overall academic achievement.
