Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact as a Speech Language Pathologist by supporting students from preschool to 6th grade throughout a full school year. This contract position offers the chance to deliver in-person, specialized speech and language services within a vibrant educational environment. You'll report directly to the Director of Special Education, ensuring high-quality support for students with a range of abilities. Your commitment to helping children achieve their communication goals, paired with expertise in assessment, evaluation, and consultation, will be valued every day. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative setting, skillfully fostering positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues alike.
Key Experience and Qualifications:
Hold an active Washington SLP license (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY encouraged) Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy Solid understanding of the entire special education process, including compliance and best practices Skill in planning and implementing identification and intervention strategies for diverse needs Proficiency in engaging communication, active listening, and professionalism in all interactions Ability to maintain a positive, fun, and lighthearted atmosphere while providing effective services Background in early learning or working with atypical impairments is a plus
Responsibilities Include:
