Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing comprehensive support to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in Port Angeles, WA. This is a full school year contract position, ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful difference in the educational development of children and adolescents.
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grades. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Conduct assessments, diagnose speech and language disorders, and monitor student progress. Implement evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to each student's needs. Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid Washington State Speech Language Pathology license. ESA Certification specific to Washington schools. Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings. Familiarity with the full scope of speech-language pathology services within K-12 schools. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
