Engage with a vibrant Early Learning Program in the Port Orchard, WA area for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting children in their formative educational journey. As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), your insights and compassionate care make a lasting difference for families and students alike. Ideal candidates bring a passion for pediatric communication development, strong collaboration skills, and flexibility. Both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLP-CCC professionals are welcome.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred, though strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply Experience in a school-based, pediatric, or early childhood setting Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Dedication to fostering growth and success in young learners
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy for students in early learning classrooms Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support Participate in IEP development and meetings, maintain detailed documentation, and contribute to a positive learning environment Provide consultation and resources to families and staff on communication disorders and strategies Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to support student achievement This contract opportunity allows you to apply your valuable skill set in a supportive, education-focused setting.
