Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based and In-Person) | Port Orchard, WA | 2026/2027 School Year Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist ready to take your skills on the road? Sevn Workforce Solutions is seeking dedicated school-based Speech-Language Pathologists for full time travel and local contract opportunities with the South Kitsap School District in Port Orchard, Washington for the 2026/2027 school year. The district has five openings supporting students across all grade levels, from kindergarten through high school. Monday to Friday, in-person only
Contract Duration:
Full 2026/2027
School Year Caseload:
K-12, with a caseload limit of 48 (caseloads commonly run higher depending on the year, with a typical range of 48 to 60)
Travel Pay Package:
$2,550 to $2,750 per week gross (The estimated take home pay likely to be equivalent to someone salaried at approximately $83 to $89 per hour!) Must reside 50 miles or more from the district to qualify
Local Pay Package:
$70 per hour (If you reside less than 50 miles from the District)

Job Details and Caseload:
Five openings within the South Kitsap School District, with four full time positions and one 0.7 FTE position K-12 caseloads serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels Caseload limit of 48, though caseloads commonly run higher depending on the year, with a typical range of 48 to 60 Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to support student access and progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and the multidisciplinary team to support student success Strong opportunity for extension or renewal based on performance and district needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations to determine eligibility and service needs Develop, implement, and manage IEP goals for the assigned caseload Provide direct and consultative therapy across articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication Implement AAC and assistive communication strategies where appropriate Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment as needed Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Maintain IEP compliance and district documentation standards for the assigned caseload
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathology license required Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate through OSPI required Fingerprint clearance through OSPI required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance If you are ready to take the next step in your career and explore travel Speech-Language Pathology opportunities, send your resume to kevin@sevnws.com today. #IND1
