Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your expertise in speech-language pathology to the next level with a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students throughout the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple SLP positions are open, including both full-time (7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week) and a .7 FTE placement, providing flexibility tailored to your preferences. You'll work on-site with school-aged learners in a vibrant educational setting that values collaborative support and quality intervention.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP-CCC designation required Possess active Washington SLP licensure, plus ESA certification Must complete fingerprinting process through OSPI prior to assignment Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students across K-12 grades Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students' progress Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success Monitor and document student outcomes, maintaining timely and accurate records Contribute to multidisciplinary teams addressing student needs Manage a caseload averaging between 48-60 students, with a clear understanding of workload expectations This contract position offers you the chance to make a difference in students' lives in a supportive in-person environment.
