Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position providing speech-language pathology services to students in a supportive educational environment near Puyallup, WA. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference in pediatric speech therapy and comfortable working within a school or healthcare setting.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active or eligible SLP license in Washington State ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; those completing their CFY are also encouraged to apply Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based SLP services strongly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commitment to collaborating with teachers, families, and other support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to student needs Provide both direct therapy and consultation services in accordance with students' IEPs Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment progress, and required reports Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and families to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions This contract offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes while gaining valuable experience in school-based practice.
