Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an enriching opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working full-time in the vibrant community near Puyallup, WA for the 2026-27 school year. You'll collaborate closely with educators and other professionals, bring your expertise to support students' communication and language needs, and contribute to an environment that values growth and inclusivity.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state license (or eligibility) for SLP practice in Washington Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience in a school-based SLP role a strong plus Ability to provide services to a diverse student population, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques Capable of building rapport with students, staff, and families Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsYour Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, intervention, and consultation services for students with speech and language needs Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with district and federal guidelines Work collaboratively with teams to support student success across academic and social settings Maintain documentation and progress reports in a timely and accurate manner Participate in parent meetings and professional development activities as required Adapt strategies as necessary and provide resources to staff and familiesBenefits & Perks:
