Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic elementary school environment near Puyallup, WA! We're seeking skilled SLPs who are passionate about helping students develop communication abilities and achieve success. Two contract opportunities are available for the 2026-2027 school year—one full-year assignment and one maternity leave coverage.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Washington SLP License and
ASHA CCC
required Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Must be comfortable managing a caseload of 45 students Please note: SLPAs will not be considered for these positions
Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support academic and social success Complete required documentation and participate in IEP meetings Provide guidance and resources to families for carry-over into the home environment Manage caseload efficiently across assigned school site What to
