Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Ignite your passion for supporting student communication by taking on a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year. This rewarding .4 FTE position allows you to positively impact learners with varied communication needs in a welcoming educational setting near Sedro Woolley, WA. Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure by start date) Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued Strong understanding of assessment tools, therapy planning, and IEP development Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and identify speech, language, and communication challenges among students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with student IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Utilize both individual and group therapy formats to enhance learning outcomes Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student performance Offer guidance and resources to staff and families for supporting communication development Discover the satisfaction of helping students find their voice in a supportive and professional environment.
