Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathology contract role, providing specialized support for students with speech and language needs. Work closely with a dedicated, multidisciplinary team to make a direct impact on students' lives, utilizing your clinical expertise to deliver targeted services in an educational setting near Greenacres, WA.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome Prior experience working with children or school-aged populations is preferred Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities Capable of working efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech, language, or communication disorders Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support measurable progress Deliver engaging, effective therapy sessions addressing a range of speech and language goals Keep detailed documentation of student progress and adjust treatment as needed Work in close collaboration with teachers, staff, and other specialists to coordinate services Partner with families, providing guidance and engaging them in the therapy process You will also have access to a supportive advisory team of fellow SLPs in your state, ensuring you always have professional guidance and a knowledgeable network behind you.
