Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with speech and language needs in a dynamic school setting near Veradale, WA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, your expertise will contribute to life-changing outcomes for children and their families while collaborating with a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed assessments for students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Lead engaging therapy sessions focused on speech and language targets Carefully document and track student progress with attention to detail Work collaboratively with educators, specialists, and families to ensure cohesive care and the best possible outcomes Educate and actively involve families in the therapy journey
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current or pending state license in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcomed Prior experience working in pediatric or educational environments is advantageous Outstanding professional communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities Capacity to efficiently work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Active state license or eligibility through the Board of Speech Language Pathology Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology As you embark on this role, you'll be supported by a responsive advisory team comprised of experienced SLPs and enjoy a professionally enriching environment.
