Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. As a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Spokane area, you'll play an essential role in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing specialized therapy to students with speech and language needs—all while working in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments for students exhibiting speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals and needs. Provide engaging therapy sessions, tracking progress and adjusting interventions as necessary. Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of student evaluations, therapy, and progress. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective, coordinated services. Offer guidance and education to families, fostering involvement in the therapeutic process.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (from an accredited institution). Active state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable. Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work independently, while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
