Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to make a difference in elementary and secondary school settings for the 2026-2027 academic year! This contract position is ideal for professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about supporting student communication skills. Work with a dedicated educational team and provide vital services to help children reach their potential.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Washington Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in school-based settings is highly valued Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and educational staff
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on evaluations Deliver direct and consultative services to students with speech-language needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate records and document ongoing student performance Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional insights Contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment
