Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a maternity leave coverage position in Sumner, WA. This onsite, contract role supports an elementary caseload of approximately 45 students.

Onsite Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students. Complete assessments, individualized education plans (IEPs), and ongoing progress documentation. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' communication needs. Implement and adjust therapy strategies based on student response and progress. Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Valid State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to provide services onsite for the duration of the contract. This short-term role is ideal for an SLP seeking to provide focused support during a specific timeframe while contributing to student success.
