Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact this school year as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in a supportive educational environment near Tacoma, Washington. This contract assignment runs from August 2026 through December 2026, offering a rewarding opportunity to use your expertise for positive change in a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services tailored to student needs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing your insights with interdisciplinary teams Partner closely with teachers, special education professionals, administrators, and families to support student goals Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state regulations Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that helps each child succeed
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Washington SLP license and Washington ESA certification (or the ability to obtain one) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required Excellent communication and teamwork skills
