Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference by providing essential speech-language support to high school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for a clinician dedicated to helping adolescents communicate confidently and achieve academic success. You'll collaborate with educators and families, utilizing your expertise to create a positive, supportive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Experience with high school-aged students preferred Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and families Excellent assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, or communication needs among high school students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and academic requirements Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and administrators Participate in IEP meetings, sharing assessment results and progress updates Maintain accurate records of interventions, sessions, and student progress in compliance with school and state standards Offer consultative support for classroom accommodations and strategies Assist with transition planning for students moving to post-secondary environments
