Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication skills by working onsite as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Kenosha, WI area. This rewarding contract position is designed for both CFY and CCC professionals ready to engage elementary learners across 1-2 conveniently located schools. You'll benefit from collaboration with an experienced lead SLP at each site, ensuring mentorship and shared expertise throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
ASHA certification (or eligibility for CFY or CCC) Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations highly valued Proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of speech-language services for elementary-age students Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Ability to work full-time onsite, 37.5 hours per week during the 26/27 school year Dedication to providing evidence-based, student-centered intervention
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop individualized plans for students in need of speech-language support Deliver therapy using engaging, effective techniques tailored to each child's needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, other SLPs, and school staff to ensure comprehensive care Attend team meetings, IEPs, and provide regular updates on student progress Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district requirements This role offers the unique advantage of working closely with lead SLPs in a supportive and skilled environment.
