Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by providing speech-language therapy services on a contract basis for an exciting assignment starting this August. Two enthusiastic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (either CCC-certified or completing their Clinical Fellowship Year) are needed to step in for a maternity leave covering both middle and high school students. This opportunity involves working full-time with a dedicated educational team, supporting students' growth and communication skills during the school year. Interviews are happening this week, so candidates who are comfortable with both in-person and teletherapy (Voco) modalities are highly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY status welcomed. Previous experience with school-aged children, including middle and high school levels, preferred. Proficiency and comfort providing teletherapy sessions. Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment and therapy services to a diverse caseload of middle and high school students. Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans. Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP development and meetings. Adapt therapeutic approaches to both traditional and teletherapy platforms, ensuring engagement and student progress.
This contract offers:
