Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role as a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting high school students with their communication and language needs. This contract position offers the chance to work alongside dedicated educational professionals, providing both assessment and therapy to help students reach their full academic and social potential.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Active SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience working in school settings, preferably with high school-aged students Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, parents, and support staff Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders Skill in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Knowledge of compliance and documentation within educational frameworks Your key responsibilities: Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned high school students Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics to assess speech and language abilities Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to craft and execute effective interventions Monitor student progress, adjust therapy methods as needed, and maintain thorough documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professionally to multidisciplinary teams Provide guidance and resources for classroom strategies supporting communication needs Benefits for this rewarding contract include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, along with the satisfaction of fostering student growth during a pivotal stage in their education.
