Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed to provide services in an educational setting. This role is based in Martinsburg, WV, offering an opportunity to work within a school environment supporting students with speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Document student progress and prepare reports as required Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to discuss student needs and goals
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with experience in school-based settings Experience with school-age pediatrics preferred Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with school or healthcare experience considered Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders common in pediatric populations Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with children and adults Familiarity with school district protocols and procedures a plus
