Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Speech Pathologist Assistant, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults. In this vital role as a, Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) you will support licensed SLP in providing speech and language services to children and/or adults. Under supervision, you will help implement treatment plans, conducts therapy activities, prepares materials, and documents client progress. This role ensures consistent, high-quality support for individuals with communication needs and helps maintain efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities Implement speech and language treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP Conduct individual or small-group therapy sessions Collect and record accurate data on client performance Prepare therapy materials, activities, and equipment Assist with speech and language screenings Maintain clean, organized therapy spaces and supplies Communicate observations and progress to the supervising SLP Follow ethical, professional, and confidentiality guidelines Assist with scheduling, documentation, and caseload organization as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program; licensure or certification as required by local regulations. Proven experience working with children across various age groups and developmental stages. Prior experience in clinic settings is highly desirable, demonstrating adaptability. Experience working with children on the autism spectrum. Knowledge of pediatrics and adult communication disorders. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology practice. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and healthcare teams. Ability to assess complex cases accurately and develop targeted intervention plans that promote measurable progress. $36.00 - $72.00 per hour
