Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic and rewarding role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) on a contract basis. Ideal Profile:
Active SLPA licensure in Arkansas, or eligibility to obtain Experience delivering speech therapy interventions in school or healthcare environments Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, educators, and families Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress tracking Adaptability to serve diverse student populations and needs Commitment to ethical practices and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Speech Language Pathologists in executing individualized therapy plans for students Provide direct therapy to students across a range of ages and diagnoses, using evidence-based approaches Support IEP implementation by collecting data and monitoring student progress Communicate clearly with teachers, related service staff, and families regarding student needs and achievements Prepare materials and organize schedules to maximize student therapy time Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
